  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral health services.
The RBT will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role involves supporting clients in developing essential skills, managing behaviors, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in behavioral therapy, experience working with children, and a commitment to improving clients' quality of life through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately and consistently Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and communication skills Support teaching and skill acquisition programs tailored to each client's needs Manage and modify behavior using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations Document medical records, progress notes, and care plans clearly and professionally Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive service delivery Engage clients in therapeutic activities designed to promote development and independence Uphold safety standards and ensure a safe environment for clients at all times Skills Experience with behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Strong understanding of special education principles and patient care practices Ability to assist with ADLs effectively and compassionately Proficiency in data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings Excellent teaching skills with the ability to adapt approaches to individual client needs Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills for working with people with diverse needs Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of sensitive information This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring behavioral support while working within a supportive team environment.
