Job Description

Job Summary We are currently looking for an English-fluent RBT to provide services to a 5-year-old boy in a school setting (VPK) in Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Requirement:
Must be fluent in English Duties Deliver behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each individual's needs, utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. Assist clients with daily activities such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other essential self-care tasks. Collect and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective intervention strategies. Support the implementation of individualized care plans developed by licensed professionals, ensuring adherence to established goals. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including behavior management reports, progress notes, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to promote consistent care and positive behavioral health outcomes. Ensure a safe environment by following proper behavior management protocols and adhering to all safety guidelines. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) effectively and compassionately. Proficiency in data collection methods and analyzing behavioral data for progress tracking. Familiarity with special education practices and teaching strategies tailored for diverse learning needs. Excellent patient care skills combined with a caring, patient-centered approach. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and medical records management. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information. Ability to develop, implement, and modify care plans based on ongoing assessments. Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families.
