00 Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) position available in Lihue, HI for the 2026-2027 school year within a PreK-12 public school setting. This in-person role supports students with behavioral and developmental needs by implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs under the supervision of a BCBA. Key responsibilities include conducting behavior assessments, collecting and analyzing data, assisting in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The BCaBA will collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes, improve functional behaviors, and enhance learning environments. Additional duties include providing staff training on behavior strategies, monitoring student progress, and ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines, including Department of Education requirements. Candidates should have strong communication, organization, and data collection skills, along with experience working in school-based or pediatric settings.
