To Be Determined Job Description Cedar Falls High School is seeking a Weight Room Assistant to support students and supervise the high school weight room program during physical education classes. Position Hours Primary Schedule

Monday:

8:00 a.m.

11:15 a.m. Tuesday
Friday:
6:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m. This position may be split into shifts depending on applicant availability (priority will be given to applicants who can work the entire duration): Monday Shift 1: 8:00 a.m.
9:45 a.m. Shift 2: 9:45 a.m.
11:15 a.m. Tuesday
Friday Shift 1: 6:30 a.m.
8:30 a.m. Shift 2: 8:30 a.m.
10:30 a.

m. Responsibilities Supervise students in the weight room setting Support safe and appropriate use of equipment Assist with individual and small group teaching of the core lifts Assist with the organization and daily operations of the weight room Assist with teaching individuals and small groups the core lifts Promote a positive, safe, and encouraging training environment Work collaboratively with teachers, coaches, and school staff
