In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support, promote independence, and foster positive growth within home and community settings. Your energetic approach and commitment to care will empower individuals to thrive in their daily routines and social interactions. This paid position offers an inspiring opportunity to build rewarding relationships while developing your skills in behavioral health, special education, and caregiving. Duties Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Support behavioral health initiatives through positive behavior management techniques Facilitate communication using skills such as American Sign Language or other alternative methods when applicable Provide transportation and driving support for appointments, community outings, or errands Collect data on progress, behaviors, and goals to inform care plans and track development Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document accurately Engage in social work practices by fostering social skills, encouraging community participation, and promoting independence Assist with childcare responsibilities when working with children or families in need of support Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred Background in special education or behavioral health enhances your ability to support diverse needs effectively Home and community care experience demonstrates your adaptability in various environments Strong communication skills are essential for building trust and understanding with clients and team members Valid driver's license and safe driving record are required for transportation duties Familiarity with data collection methods, medication administration, and behavior management strategies is advantageous Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with a proactive approach to supporting clients' growth and well-being Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication transforms lives! Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): I have 2 shifts. Full time Friday 11pm to Sunday 11pm = 48 Hours and 32 hour shift during the week Monday 7a-3p, Tuesday 7a - 11p and Friday 7a 3p Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Day Shift (Preferred)
