DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients at risk for falls and those patients placed on suicidal/homicidal precautions who are not restrained.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional/Educational At least 17 years of age. Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred. DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification (CPI) preferred Management Of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training preferred. Personal Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct. Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others. Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty. Ability to follow directions accurately. Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
