Job Description

Position Summary Participate as a team member in the delivery of behavioral health outpatient treatment services to union trade workers and their families, and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations. Support continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and participation in the Peer Recovery Training Program
- Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) or become certified within 24 months of employment
- Demonstrated deep understanding of the emotional, psychological, and practical aspects of navigating mental health and wellness
- Ability to coordinate and present lectures for clients, parents, and community resources
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements as required

Rosecrance Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to prescribed work hours set by leadership, and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. 2. Navigate and assist individuals transitioning between treatment programs and levels of care. 3. Provide one-on-one and group support to union trade workers experiencing emotional distress, trauma or mental health concerns, and other individuals as appropriate. 4. Use lived experience and empathy to build trust and support. 5. Serve as an advocate for mental health and wellness within the union trade worker community. 6. Offer crisis intervention and emotional support during difficult or traumatic events, ensuring the individual feels heard, respected, and understood. 7. Connect individuals with appropriate mental health services, substance use programs, therapy, counseling, or other community resources as needed. 8. Assist union trade workers in developing coping strategies and resilience techniques to manage stress. 9. Contribute as a partner in the design, implementation, and evaluation of treatment solutions 10. Provide appropriate behavioral interventions and advocacy for individuals with behavioral health disorders 11. Provide peer crisis support in partnership with other team members. 12. Deliver peer education regarding behavioral health treatment. 13. Facilitate peer-led groups. 14. Recruit peer mentors to provide support union trade workers clients and programs 15. Observe and support outpatient group programming 16. Serve as a member of the treatment team and participate in team meetings and activities. 17. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. 18. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance. 19. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. 20. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance. 21. 20-25 hours/week. Flexible times between 8:30am-8:00pm onTuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Work Location:

Starting Rate:
