Job Description

Location:
Baton Rouge, Louisiana (fully in-office at our Siegen Lane clinic) About Us We're a collaborative, supportive team that values professionalism and staff development. We will consider any and all appropriate applicants, although we are particularly happy to hear from recent grads and part-time students who are excited about building meaningful skills while exploring the mental health field. Clear path forward:
We will train you on any unfamiliar tools or processes. What You'll Do Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism Verify insurance benefits and process payments Receive and assign new referrals and coordinate with certain agencies Answer calls Manage protected health information responsibly (HIPAA-compliance) Handle day-to-day tasks like ordering supplies, opening/closing the office, and supporting our admin team Use our EHR system (Practice Fusion), Google Workspace tools, and
Microsoft Office What We're Seeking Hours/Availability:
7:30A arrival time and full-time availability Strong communication: assertiveness and kindness are crucial when interacting with clients/guardians Organization and follow-through: prioritize tasks in a busy environment while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Reliability and professionalism: positive attitude, dependability, and motivation to do well Interest in mental health: background/education in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is a big plus (but not required)
Bonus:
6+ months in a professional office or customer-facing role is helpful (but not required) Application Process We are a private practice, not a massive company with dozens of departments, so we try to keep things straightforward. We aim to move quickly with hiring so that we can achieve a projected start date by late June to early July.
