Job Description

Therapy Center of Acadiana (TCA) has been providing high-quality and individualized ABA Therapy services in the area since 2011. Our focus is on providing effective, compassionate, and client-focused treatment for those with developmental delays. We provide an exceptional environment that allows staff to support our clients and their families as they navigate the challenges of autism and other developmental delays. TCA develops staff who constantly expand their professional knowledge in order to implement innovative and proven techniques that can maximize our clients' potential and abilities in order to enhance their quality of life. TCA is growing and we are seeking several Registered Line Technicians at our Lafayette Clinic! Responsibilities Work 1:1 with children with autism under the direct supervision of a BCBA Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs to target concerning behaviors ranging from assisting with basic social skills to reducing (sometimes severe) aggression. Assist BCBAs with behavioral assessments Toilet training and diaper changing may be required Support co-workers and assist in non-clinical activities as needed Uphold expectations of culture by maintaining positive relationships with parents, co-workers and supervisors Adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards at all times Communicate effectively with clients, parents, supervisors and others
Qualifications:
Passion for helping awesome kids with developmental delays Compassionate and caring demeanor Collaborative spirit desired Background check and willingness to submit to random drug screening is required Ability to move swiftly and freely into a variety of positions (kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, etc.) for extended periods of time and to lift or move up to 50 lbs Ability to work 7:45 am-5:15 pm Monday- Friday is preferred Full time availability (30+ hours/week) is required ABA/Childcare experience is preferred High School Diploma required
