In this vital role, you will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disabilities, providing tailored behavioral interventions rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your passion for helping children and your commitment to professional and ethical standards will drive positive outcomes. This position offers an engaging environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families while developing your skills in behavioral health and special education. Duties Implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles to support children with autism and developmental disabilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting to promote independence Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support the development of communication, social, and behavioral skills through evidence-based teaching strategies Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care that aligns with each client's goals Provide home-based behavioral therapy sessions when needed, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients Experience Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is preferred Experience in special education, teaching, or behavioral therapy enhances your ability to deliver effective interventions Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior management techniques is essential Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is advantageous Previous home-based behavioral experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse settings Demonstrated understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and ethical guidelines for behavior analysts Strong communication skills and patience are critical for working effectively with children and their families Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate care, innovative teaching strategies, and unwavering support for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders.
