Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Service Worker to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will work closely with clients to promote independence, safety, and well-being through personalized assistance and behavioral support. Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral health conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility needs Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Respond effectively to crisis situations using crisis intervention and crisis management skills to de-escalate conflicts and ensure client safety Collect data on client progress, behaviors, and treatment responses for ongoing evaluation and reporting purposes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and family members to develop individualized care plans Qualifications Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to handle sensitive situations involving PTSD care or addiction counseling with professionalism and compassion Strong communication skills for effective social work interactions and data collection Must be able to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards and handle medical records responsibly Join us in making a positive impact by empowering individuals through dedicated care, compassionate support, and professional excellence. Pay:
$9.00 - $12.00 per hour
