You will assist with patient care, behavior management, crisis intervention, and medical documentation, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and care. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients by assisting with daily activities, behavior management strategies, and social skills development. Conduct intake assessments and gather comprehensive medical and behavioral data for accurate documentation. Monitor vital signs and administer medication as prescribed, following HIPAA guidelines and medical protocols. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behaviors and skill acquisition for individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Respond promptly to crisis situations using crisis management and crisis intervention skills to ensure safety for clients and staff. Maintain detailed medical records, update behavioral health charts, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, and educators to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Qualifications Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and medical documentation is required. Strong communication skills for effective intake procedures and patient care coordination. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
