Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Remain awake for the entire shift and to provide support to individuals in the house as needed.

Complete overnight checklists and reports as outlined by each individual's service plan and/or behavior plan.

Work as a member of a team to maintain a clean, safe, positive living environment for each individual who lives at the residence including completing laundry and cleaning assignments Assist in the development and implementation of each individual's residential ISP/IEP and daily activity schedule.

Implement positive behavior supports and individual behavior support plans for individuals who live in the home.

Provide supervision of all individuals while under his/her care. Administer and record individuals' medications, in compliance with MAP.Provide direct supervision and care to individuals, including 1:1 responsibilities at all times and locations.

Participate in any meetings pertaining to assigned individuals or program planning, as directed.

Engage in de-escalation of individuals.
Essential Job Functions:
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations.

Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals.

Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needsProficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.

Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals.

The ability to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI).The ability to assist individuals in evacuation from the residence
