Consulting Belmont, MA Job Details Part-time $28 - $32 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Bilingual Applied behavior analysis Patient assessment High school diploma or GED Driver's License Medical records Full Job Description The Behavior Interventionist works in close collaboration with staff teams and clinical staff to implement positive behavioral support plans with people served. Responsibilities, Using Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis Cultivate mutually respectful partnerships, and maintain a helping role with staff teams, people served and family members. Assist behavior analysts, students and families to implement Behavior Support Plans. Collaborate with individuals served and other team members on the implementation of Treatment Plans and other activities. Deliver interventions identified on the Treatment Plan with supervision from licensed clinical staff. Assist in the completion of all documentation according to prescribed timelines. Provide assistance to help reduce, eliminate or replace socially inappropriate behavior with more desirable options. Coach staff to provide one on one direct supports to assist individuals to attain success in their daily living skills. Work directly with staff, families and students to implement behavior change programs. Provide direct supports to assist individuals to learn and acquire skills in areas of daily functioning. Observe staff and/or family members and give feedback related to consistent implementation of behavior strategies and plans. Ensure data is recorded and collected according to set defined behaviors designated per each IEP goal and BSP. Generate written summaries as requested. Maintain client confidentiality. Effectively communicate with staff, parents, caregivers, and supervisors in a timely and professional manner. Assist with other duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's or Associates Degree in a Human Services related field preferred. Also, 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. High School Diploma and valid driver's license required. People interested in career advancement in the field of ABA preferred.
