Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Specialist to support students in a school setting. This role focuses on managing and improving student behavior through structured interventions, collaboration with staff, and consistent support throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Conduct observations and behavioral assessments as needed Support students with behavioral challenges in both classroom and one-on-one settings About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Specialist to support students in a school setting. This role focuses on managing and improving student behavior through structured interventions, collaboration with staff, and consistent support throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Conduct observations and behavioral assessments as needed Support students with behavioral challenges in both classroom and one-on-one settings Collect and track data on student behavior and progress Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff Provide guidance and strategies to staff on behavior management Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Qualifications High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree required (Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field) Previous experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral needs Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and interventions Ability to remain calm, consistent, and professional in challenging situations Strong communication and teamwork skills What We Offer Competitive weekly pay Consistent school schedule (no nights or weekends) Ongoing support from a dedicated team Opportunity to make a direct impact in student development Why This Role This position allows you to play a key role in helping students succeed both academically and behaviorally.
