Setting:

School-Based (Elementary, Middle, or High School) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Social Emotional Paraprofessional to support students for the remainder of the current school year in Fall River. This role focuses on helping students develop social-emotional regulation, coping skills, and positive behavior within the school environment, while supporting their ability to access learning. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with social-emotional and behavioral needs Assist students in using coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and positive social interactions Support implementation of behavior support plans and social-emotional learning (SEL) goals Help students navigate transitions, routines, and peer interactions throughout the school day Collaborate with special education teachers, adjustment counselors, school psychologists, and other support staff Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive learning environment Document observations and communicate student progress to the educational team Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children with social-emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs preferred Background in education, psychology, human services, or counseling a plus Strong patience, empathy, and de-escalation skills Ability to follow individualized support plans and take direction from school staff Schedule & Duration Immediate start through the end of the school year Monday-Friday, school-day hours No long-term commitment required beyond the school year Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Consistent weekday hours Valuable experience in social-emotional and behavioral support Supportive, collaborative school environment Why Join Us? Minimum Requirements:
