$21.00 - $23.00 Behavioral Specialist I Assonet, MA | Full-Time | $21-$23/hr Do you want a career where your work truly matters? We're hiring a Behavioral Specialist I to support children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental challenges in home, school, clinic, and community settings. In this role, you'll help individuals build skills, increase independence, and reduce challenging behaviors. This is a great opportunity for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and interested in growing in the behavioral health field. What You'll Do Support behavior plans under supervision Teach positive behavior and skill-building strategies Assist with community-based activities Help maintain a safe, structured environment Participate in training and supervision What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred Knowledge of ABA, positive behavior supports, or trauma-informed care preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable with Microsoft Office and web-based systems Preferred RBT certification Behavioral health experience CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 3 months Knowledge of non-violent intervention techniques Schedule Full-time Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday 11:00 AM-7:30 PM Apply today to join a team dedicated to helping children learn, grow, and succeed.
