Job Description

Therapeutic Support Specialist (TSS) Children's Mental Health Services $21.25 per hour Mobile position providing services in communities throughout the region of Central Massachusetts, surrounding Marlborough. The Edinburg Center is seeking a Therapeutic Support Specialist for our newest DMH Specialty Flex program provision services to youth under the age of 21 with co-occurring mental health and neurodevelopmental needs, using our agencies "Better Together" model.
What You Will Do:
Work as part of a dynamic and innovative interdisciplinary team consisting of a Master's level Mental Health Clinician, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Family Partner, and Occupational Therapist (OT). The Therapeutic Support Specialist works directly with youth and young adults to make progress towards clinical and/or behavioral goals for treating the youth's emotional and/or behavioral needs. TSS engage persons served in 1:1 skill building and coaching, both within the home and community. They may provide additional case management and are responsible for documentation relating to their role.
Who You Are:
A passionate individual committed to working with complex youth and families, with the following combination of education and experience: A high school diploma or
GED, AND
3-years of relevant experience working with youth OR A qualifying bachelor's degree or associate's degree in a human services field from an accredited institution AND 2-years of relevant experience working with youthORqualifying bachelor's degree or associate's degree in a human services field from an accredited institution, AND 1-year of experience working with youth or families, AND oral and written fluency in a needed languageORhigh school diploma or
GED, AND
2-years of experience working with youth and families, AND oral and written fluency in a needed language. Must be 21 years or older and maintain a flexible schedule including afternoon and evening availability. The individual must hold a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
