Mental Health Worker (MAP Certified)

Duration:

3 months (possibly 6 months)

Location:

Walpole, MA Shift:

7:00•15:30. Days off are every Monday and every other weekend

Pay Rate:

$32.60/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mental Health Worker with a valid MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification to provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health or developmental needs. The role involves assisting clients with daily activities, monitoring behavior, administering medications as permitted under MAP guidelines, and supporting treatment plans in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with mental health needs. Administer medications in accordance with MAP certification guidelines . Monitor client behavior and report any changes to the clinical team. Assist clients with daily living activities and community integration. Maintain accurate documentation of care, medication administration, and incidents. Follow safety protocols and support crisis intervention when needed. Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and care teams.

Requirements:

Valid MAP Certification . Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or residential care settings . Active BLS (AHA preferred) Covid Vaccination (Preferred) Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and professionally. High school diploma or equivalent required (relevant training or degree preferred). Who We Are?
