Job Description

TriSource is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Aide's to begin working in a classroom setting assisting students in a non public school setting. The school is located within Joppa, MD. Looking for staff to start as soon ASAP!
Requirements:
Experience working with vulnerable population Experience and/or comfortability working with children who have developmental and intellectual disabilities (autism experience is a PLUS!) Experience working with behaviors Ability to work in a classroom setting Reliable transportation or Driver's License Clean background and ability to pass a drug screen High school diploma Must be 21 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
Supervises and manages student behavior in the classroom Maintains proper rules, safety and security of students, providing crisis intervention when necessary. Oversees student to ensure they are on track academically/ following IEP Provides verbal cues and physical de-escalation tools when student is in crisis Supports teaching staff when assistance is requested
Schedule:
