This position requires a Valid Driver's License, Proof of Insurance, Experience with Intellectual Developmental Disability. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being while assisting with therapeutic activities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and contribute to the overall care of patients. Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on behavioral health needs. Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Provide support in crisis intervention situations, ensuring the safety of all patients. Engage patients in therapeutic activities and promote social interaction. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress. Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to medical terminology and protocols. Collect data on patient behavior and responses to treatment for ongoing assessment. Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Qualifications Valid Driver's License, Proof of Insurance, Experience with Intellectual Developmental Disability, Experience in behavioral health settings or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques is a plus. Familiarity with medical records management and medical terminology is essential. Previous experience in medication administration is highly desirable. Strong data collection skills to monitor patient progress effectively. Experience working with children in a mental health capacity is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A commitment to providing compassionate care and support to individuals facing mental health challenges.
