Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Preschool ABA Technician to join our vibrant team committed to empowering children with developmental disabilities, including autism, through evidence-based behavioral therapy. In this role, you will work directly with preschool-aged children in a supportive and nurturing environment, implementing individualized treatment plans rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Your energetic and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress in communication, social skills, daily living activities, and behavior management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, dressing, grooming, and toileting, encouraging independence and confidence. Collect and record accurate data on each child's progress during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments. Support children during structured teaching activities focused on communication, social interaction, and cognitive skills. Maintain a safe and supportive environment by adhering to behavioral health protocols and ensuring proper supervision at all times. Collaborate with supervising clinicians and team members to update care plans and ensure consistency across all interventions. Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records, documentation, and sensitive information related to clients' health and progress. Qualifications Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while demonstrating patience and compassion for young children. Excellent data collection skills to track progress accurately and support treatment planning. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining confidential medical records is desirable. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, families, and supervising clinicians. A proactive attitude with a passion for teaching, caring for children, and making a difference in their lives. Join us as a Preschool ABA Technician if you're motivated by helping children reach their full potential through engaging, evidence-based interventions! This role offers a rewarding environment where your dedication can truly transform lives.
