Are you looking to make a positive contribution to the lives of people living with mental illness and have an established, predictable schedule ? Work at Andrew Residence with our dynamic cross-functional team of mental health professionals including clinical social workers, nurses, and therapeutic recreation specialists.
Current Mental Health Worker openings:
Full-time (1.0 FTE), 1:30-10:00 PM, Tuesday-Friday & every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday) Compensation starting at $23.00/hour with opportunity to receive +$3.00/hour after completing
CNA & TMA
training courses during onboarding process. •Evening Mental Health Workers receive an additional $1.00/hour shift differential when working during the hours of 3:00-11:30 PM.

Primary Responsibilities:
Participate in the provision of a comprehensive program of services, including floor coverage, interacting with residents in independent and group settings, while keeping an emphasis on the milieu to facilitate maintenance of residents' overall well-being. Monitor physical health changes and medication side effects, by collecting vital signs and communicating abnormalities and/or changes to nursing staff Assess resident mental health status daily and communicate status to treatment teams, intervening in emergency situations as needed. Administer medications and treatments per legal order and established protocols. Act as Program Manager to assigned residents, coordinating care with the treatment team, including community professionals and personal contacts, so that individual treatment planning will be developed, implemented and maintained. Assess resident ADL (activities of daily living) needs, develop and implement an ADL assistance plan to promote and maintain residents' highest level of independence and safely carry out specialized resident care responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a major in Behavioral Sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology, social work, etc.) Proficiency with computer software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, EHR) Effective communication skills Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary team framework
Preferred Qualifications:
CNA license TMA certificate Experience working with resident populations Experience providing support to people with mental illness diagnoses
