Responsibilities - What you'll do This position is a fieldwork/remote position with official domicile being Central Office in Jefferson City. This position will primarily work remote, but will be required to travel to institutions across the state and to Central Office in Jefferson City, MO for training/orientation, occasional meetings, and job requirements as identified. As a key member of the department's behavioral health team, this position is responsible for the overall management and oversight of correctional mental health services for Missouri Department of Corrections facilities. Duties include auditing mental health services for contractual and clinical compliance; working with site and regional staff to improve behavioral health operations; serving on departmental teams and committees as assigned; communicating with family members and other constituents, site administration, and outside stakeholders as needed; and assisting with planning and policy development for the department's behavioral health services and other programming. Some travel, including occasional overnight travel, is required. Position will report to Behavioral Health Coordinator of Mental Health Services, Division of Offender Rehabilitative Services. Qualifications - All you need for success The successful candidate will be a Missouri licensed behavioral health professional with a master's degree or higher, and five or mor years of experience in behavioral health services. Experience may be a combination of clinical, administrative, and management duties. Correctional experience is preferred but not required. All requested documents MUST be received by the closing date listed Job Details - More reasons to love this position Contingent upon your position, you may also be eligible to receive: A $2.00 per hour shift differential if you are assigned to a shift that begins on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am and are employed at a 24/7 congregate care facility (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center). A $0.75 per hour maximum security stipend if you work full-time at a qualifying facility. A $1.00 per hour restrictive housing stipend if you are assigned a regular post within a restrict housing/segregation unit at any facility. The Department of Corrections currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years!
