Job Description

The Behavioral Health work study student will assist with various tasks within the department such as assisting with planning/coordinating behavioral health related events, awareness campaigns, and more.
Essential Duties:
Assist in planning/coordinating behavioral health related events, awareness campaigns, etc. Manage social media accounts to promote events and mental health resources. Provide administrative support, meeting minutes, and record-keeping. Collaborate with campus departments and external organizations to enhance mental health programming. Assist in recruiting and engaging students in the organization's initiatives. Help develop educational materials and outreach initiatives for students. Support fundraising for behavioral health student organization. Attend organization meetings and contribute to discussions on mental health advocacy. The preceding duties have been provided as examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Interest in behavioral health or related field. Strong organizational skills Excellent communication skills. Time management skills Experience with social media and graphic design is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to promoting mental health awareness and student well-being This position is a part of the Federal work-study program, to qualify you must be a State Fair Community College student enrolled in the current semester and eligible for Financial Aid thorough the Federal Work-study program. Employment will require a criminal background check at College expense. Preference is given to Missouri residents.
