As our Assertive Engagement (AE) Team Lead, you will ensure that AE services run smoothly, clients receive optimal care, and that services provided are consistent with different scopes of work, service definitions, and MOUs in conjunction with the TCL Program Supervisor. The AE Team Lead provides direct care services to identified clients, and fill in for vacancies or PTO request to ensure all clients under AE service definition needs are being addressed. This role also includes elements of staff management and development and administrative oversite of program specific tasks. Interested but not yet certified? This is a community-based role that covers multiple counties - we provide mileage reimbursement! Pay Starting pay for this role is $23.00 per hour. Schedule Monday - Friday, flexible daytime hours. You would receive 10 paid holidays as well as PTO hours which would accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months you would be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. SouthLight is also an approved employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF). Job Responsibilities of an Assertive Engagement Team Lead Provide supervision to providers, including direct observation and evaluation of model fidelity Develop and support providers toward independent practice and to fully meet job requirements (review and certify notes and documentation for staff, as needed) Ensure follow up with supervisees' documents including but not limited to: failed activities, service notes, authorizations, person centered plans, NC TOPPS, etc. Conduct a minimum of bi-weekly individual supervision Facilitates team meetings Responsible for the successful growth of the caseload and management of the different providers Aid in development of functional skills (managing medication routines, budgeting skills, learning how to access health care, independent daily living skills, etc.) Model recovery values, attitudes, beliefs, and personal action to encourage wellness Encourage development of natural supports where possible Maintain and submit required documentation (treatment plans, service notes, service authorization requests, required data collection etc.) Participate in agency-wide 24/7 crisis phone rotation Qualifications of an Assertive Engagement Team Lead Education and Experience Min 1 year experience in community intervention and crisis services Min 1-3 years' experience working in community mental health setting Licensure/Certifications Active NC Peer Support Certification CPR, First Aid, Blood born pathogens trainings, NCI Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to easily connect with people with profound communication skills A constructive approach towards members Ability to manage crisis situations both in person and over the phone Ability to maintain confidentiality of the information collected from the members and their families Considerable knowledge of the dynamics and problems of addiction and current practices of treatment Strong commitment to the rights and abilities of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences About SouthLight Healthcare Tap into your passion at SouthLight Healthcare.
