Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Mental Health Worker and become a vital part of transforming lives through compassionate, comprehensive care. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals facing mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, and behavioral health issues. Duties Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting independence. Conduct behavioral assessments and implement individualized care plans using applied behavior analysis techniques. Monitor vital signs and administer medications in accordance with medical protocols and HIPAA regulations. Support crisis intervention efforts by managing behavioral emergencies with effective crisis management strategies. Collect and document detailed medical records, progress notes, and behavioral data accurately and confidentially. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate intake assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing support services. Engage in social work practices to foster positive relationships, promote social skills, and enhance client engagement. Requirements Proven experience working with children, individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or mental health conditions such as PTSD. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities across diverse settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management. Strong skills in data collection, behavioral health assessments, and applied behavior analysis methodologies. Excellent communication skills for patient care, social work interactions, and team collaboration. Certification or training in addiction counseling or special education is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
