Classroom Assistant

Key Qualifications:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a behavior-support role is preferred Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with students, educators, and staff Quick adaptability to changing instructions and school environments Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism within a school community Reliability and a compassionate approach to student-focused support

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct 1:1 support to an assigned student, adjusting strategies as student needs are clarified Collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to implement learning or behavioral plans Communicate observations and progress professionally with the educational team Assist the student with classroom activities, transitions, and engagement throughout the day Maintain a consistent, positive presence to ensure the student's comfort and success
