Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analyst Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your primary focus will be on providing compassionate care, applying evidence-based behavioral therapies, and supporting clients in developing essential skills. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, fostering independence. Bilingual Support clients in social skills training, communication development, and behavioral management strategies. Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence. Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Effective teaching and communication skills to engage clients positively.
