Job Description

Expected hours:
27.5 hours per week, full year position
Job Overview :
We are a fast-paced and high-demand non-profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at-risk population. Cross-training is available and expected for all positions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Complete health, dental, mental health, and nutrition screenings within the required timeline. Maintain positive relationships with parents and support parents as they complete the required. immunizations and other medical and dental follow-up procedures for their children. Maintain first aid and pediatric CPR certification and provide first aid when necessary. Promote health and safety practices within the program by implementing and monitoring health and hygiene practices in classrooms and the center
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, working towards a health credential, or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), to be completed within two years of hire (required) Associate's degree, LPN, RPN (preferred) Experience working with young children (required) Experience in the health and nutrition field 2+ years experience with children and families(preferred) 2+ years experience with health and nutrition (preferred) The successful candidate will be: compassionate, organized, flexible, a good communicator, a team player Physical abilities : Must be able to lift 30 pounds independently without assistance
