Job Description

Maryville Integrated Care is recognized as a leader in the field of substance use and co-occurring disorders. For more than seven decades, our holistic, evidence-based approaches have helped bring hope, health and healing to those suffering from opioid, alcohol and other addictive substances. Due to our accomplished staff's education, experience, compassion and commitment, clients who have been served by Maryville consistently document high satisfaction levels with our programs and services. This position is Part Time 25 hours per week, shifts Monday 2pm to 10pm, Thursday 8am-4pm, and 3rd day flexible hours. Meets with the clients for coaching at least weekly during the first six (6) months and then monthly in the remaining six (6) months. Provides education and awareness with mental health disorders. Provides recovery support for clients throughout their continuum of care and into the community for up to one year. Provides Motivational Interviewing (MI) social skill interventions, and support for patients to gain the necessary adaptive skills to be successful in recovery. Assists the clients with implementing their recovery plans, connects them to services and self-help groups, and supports positive behavioral change. Helps clients cope with stressful situations that could lead to relapse of mental health concerns. Assists clients with progression through the stages of change to alter high-risk behaviors, model effective problem solving skills, and provide on-going monitoring. Stay in engaged with clients and provide support where needed. Develop and collect project data plan. Implement
GPRA/NOMS
at intake, discharge, and at the six (6) month mark of recovery. Performs related duties as required.
Requirements Education/Licensure:
Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years of experience working in with mental health disorders with demonstrable results. Experience supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
Driving:
Valid driver's license and car insurance is required. An MVR check will be completed. Valid NJ Certification as a Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP) preferred.
Sobriety:
If recovering, must have at least two (2) years of continuous sobriety and maintain sobriety throughout employment.
