Whether shifting parental control, managing noncompliance, teaching new skills, or anything in between, the coach will provide support for the family where it is needed.

Brief Job Description:

Implement techniques stemming from Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Dialectic Behavioral Theory, and ABA theories to address mental health struggles and skills to appropriately manage maladaptive behaviors Provide recommendations in real time based on extensive behavioral knowledge to address concerns ranging from motivation to noncompliance Implement customized plans to effectively address gaps in

Executive Functioning Skills, Coping Skills, Social Skills and Academic Management Compensation:

Direct support: the time spent supporting the family in the home, on the phone, or virtually. This would include anyone in the family (Mother/Father/Daughter/Son).

Indirect support:

the time spent supporting the family via messaging/email/or creating customized enrichment for the family. Facilitating support between Mental Health Providers & our team: the time spent supporting the family via messaging/email/or creating customized enrichment for the family.

Commuting time:

up to one hour per meeting. ~There will be no commute charge when PPPD is already in the area. Pay scale - $45-85 an hour

About You:

Masters degree in Child Development, Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Bachelors degree may be considered with commensurable work experience) Models appropriate behavioral and emotional management/skill Comfortable delivering direct feedback when you are supporting parents. This often telling the parents they are wrong, need to leave the room, or to stop engaging Believe strongly in multi-disciplinary care and measurement-based methods Interested in learning and collaborating with the best early childhood mental health professionals in the country A deeper understanding in healthy family dynamics Currently we are looking to fill positions in the following areas:
