Job Duties Please note:

All positions and services now fall under the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health as we move forward in serving individuals, families, and communities across the state. What you'll do at DBH :
Coach patients to function independently in self-help and daily living skills Charting, documentation, records, and reporting Organizing and conducting patient group activities Transport of patients to off-site appointments Participates directly or indirectly in treatment teams in cooperation with hospital clinical staff Implements appropriate therapeutic precautions and institutes appropriate crisis intervention when necessary Conducts rounds on the unit This is an hourly position , with a hourly rate of $23.28. This position will work on unit C1, hours 3:00pm-11:30pm. This position is located within our Heartland Behavioral Healthcare campus at 3000 Erie Street South, Massillon, OH 44646 . You Also Need to Know:
Must be able to complete a 4 week (business days Monday-Friday) full time orientation May work weekends and holidays; may be exposed to communicable diseases and unpredictable patient behavior Training and development required to remain in the classification after employment Qualifications Position Qualifications:
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary. For positions that require operation of motor vehicle to transport consumers to recreational, educational &/or occupational activities, a valid driver's license is required. OR The equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. Primary Job Skill:
