About PsychPlus PsychPlus is a growing behavioral healthcare organization providing high-quality outpatient mental health services. Our multidisciplinary teams focus on delivering structured, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. About the Role PsychPlus is seeking a Fulltime Behavioral Health Specialist to support our outpatient mental health program. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for behavioral health who enjoy working in group-based clinical settings and supporting patients alongside licensed clinicians. This is a direct care support role that plays a key part in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and engaging environment for patients (Youth/adolescent PHP/IOP) Key Responsibilities Assist with and support group therapy sessions Monitor patient participation, behavior, and safety during programming Provide emotional support, redirection, and encouragement as needed Reinforce treatment goals established by licensed clinicians Document observations and communicate concerns to clinical staff Support daily operations of the outpatient program Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Services, or a related field OR Equivalent hands-on experience in mental or behavioral health (2 years or more) Experience in group-based settings preferred (PHP, IOP, outpatient, residential, school, etc.) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, professional, and comfortable working on-site Who This Role Is Ideal For Recent graduates seeking clinical exposure Candidates preparing for graduate programs (MSW, Counseling, Psychology)
Behavioral Health Technicians or Mental Health Aides Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have experience working in a group-based behavioral or mental health setting (PHP, IOP, outpatient, residential, school, etc.)? Do you have minimum Bachelors degree in Mental health or Behavioral health studies? Psychology, SW etc. Do you have experience working with children ages 6-10 with behavioral or emotional challenges? Are you willing to work part-time onsite at the Toledo, OH location? What is your desired hourly rate? If selected, how soon would you be available to start?
