Professional Therapeutic Community Network (PTCN) is proud to launch a new residential treatment program serving youth within the ODHS Child Welfare and Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) system. This program is designated as a Child Welfare Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) , providing a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for youth with complex behavioral and emotional needs. What You'll Do As a Residential Youth Support Professional, you will: Provide 24-hour supervision and direct support to youth in a residential setting Help youth build independent living and daily life skills Deliver and document individualized skills training each week Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and treatment team members Support recreational outings and community-based cultural and educational activities Create a positive, structured, and trauma-informed environment Build trusting relationships while supporting youth through behavioral challenges Serve as a mentor, role model, and advocate for youth growth and success
What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications:
21 years of age or older Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to pass an ODHS background check Ability to obtain the following within 90 days of hire: CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification CPR/First Aid Certification Oregon Food Handler's Card Preferred Experience Experience working with youth in residential treatment, behavioral health, mental health, foster care, or social services settings Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to remain calm, supportive, and professional in high-stress situations Passion for working with youth who have experienced trauma Benefits & Perks We value our team and offer a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, including: Medical, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off Employee referral program Ongoing paid training and professional development Opportunities for career advancement
