Job Description
Lenape Valley Foundation is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to join our Bright Path Center, where you will play a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Your lived experience, empathy, and recovery knowledge will help others feel heard, supported, and empowered as they navigate their path forward.

Continuing Education AssistanceFree access to student loan management services What You BringActive PA Peer Specialist CertificationSelf-identify as an individual in recovery from a mental health conditionHigh School diploma or GEDWithin the past three years has maintained:Minimum 12 months successful work or volunteer experience OREarned at least 24 credit hours at a college or post-secondary educational institutionPreferred experience with the following:
Supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse needCrisis services, behavioral health, or recovery settingsKnowledge of community resources and peer support networksStrong computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record and willingness to drive throughout Bucks CountyAbility to document effectively in an electronic health records systemPhysical ability to meet job requirements (with or without accommodation)Your RoleAs a Certified Peer Specialist, you will use your lived experience to provide trauma-informed, person-centered peer support within a crisis environment, helping individuals feel safe, respected, and empowered.
Provide peer-based support through lived experience within the Bright Path CenterSupport individuals through one-on-one interactions, emotional support, and engagement during crisis situationsAssist individuals in navigating services and accessing community resourcesPromote a safe, welcoming, and trauma informed environmentCollaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support continuity of careTransport individuals to appointments, community-based services, and recovery supports as appropriatePromote recovery-oriented language and practices across the program About Lenape Valley FoundationSince 1958, Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) has been a trusted non-profit provider of essential human services in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
