Job Description

Make a Meaningful Impact Every Day At Beyond Behavior Consulting, we're dedicated to supporting children with autism and developmental needs through compassionate, high-quality care. As a Center Program Aide , you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where both clients and staff can thrive. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is caring, hands-on, and passionate about working with children, especially those interested in growing within behavioral health or education fields. This is a part-time position. What You'll Do Client Support & Engagement Support children with daily living skills such as toileting, dressing, feeding, and hygiene Engage in play, relationship-building, and structured activities Assist Behavior Technicians and center staff during sessions and transitions Help with arrival/dismissal routines and ensure children's belongings are organized Escort clients throughout the building and during outdoor activities Prepare snacks/meals and assist with lunch routines Center Organization & Cleanliness Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients and staff Assist with sanitizing, laundry, and upkeep of therapy spaces Restock essential supplies (gloves, wipes, clothing, etc.) Support daily and weekly cleaning tasks alongside team members Administrative & Team Support Prepare materials for therapy sessions (laminating, copying, cutting, etc.) Assist with classroom setup, activities, and basic instruction support Help with attendance tracking, phones, and general office tasks Participate in team meetings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team What We're Looking For ✔️ Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to obtain/maintain required clearances: PA Child Abuse PA Criminal Background FBI Fingerprinting CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Mandated Reporter Certification Preferred Experience working with children, especially those with special needs Skills That Set You Apart Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented mindset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting Flexibility and willingness to jump in where needed Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data systems) Physical & Work Environment Active role: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs Engaging directly with children throughout the day (including floor play and outdoor activities) Work takes place in classrooms, therapy spaces, and outdoor areas Fast-paced, energetic environment with a lot of movement and interaction ️ Safety & Support We prioritize safety and provide appropriate protective equipment when needed, including gloves, masks, and other PPE to ensure a healthy environment for both staff and clients.
