We are seeking Mental Health Practitioners (MHPr) to join our Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) team. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with adults experiencing mental health-related functional impairments and support them in building skills that improve daily functioning and independence. What You'll Do Provide ARMHS services focused on skill development and functional improvement to support clients Teach and practice strategies related to symptom management, routines, organization, communication, and daily living skills Deliver services in home and community-based settings Collaborate with clients to establish clear, measurable treatment goals Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Procenitive) Participate in supervision as required under DHS guidelines Required DHS Qualifications Applicants MUST meet at least one of the Minnesota DHS criteria below AND have prior mental health experience. 1. Education + 2,000 Hours Experience Path 30 semester / 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields
AND 2,000
hours supervised experience supporting adults or children with: Mental illness Substance use disorder Emotional disturbance Traumatic brain injury Developmental disabilities AND required mental health training. 2. Cultural Practitioner Path Fluent in a non-English language spoken by at least 50% of assigned clients AND 40 hours mental health training AND weekly clinical supervision until 2,000 hours are met. 3.
Practicum / Internship
Completed Previously Must have already completed a practicum or internship involving direct client interaction in behavioral sciences. 4. 4,000 Hours Experience Path 4,000 supervised hours delivering services to qualifying populations AND required training. 5. Combined Experience + Supervision Path 2,000 supervised hours AND weekly supervision until reaching 4,000 hours AND required mental health training. 6. Degree Path Bachelor's or master's degree in behavioral sciences or related fields.
