We are seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapists to join our dynamic team at our office locations in Mt. Pocono and Moosic, PA. Our therapists play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys with professionalism and empathy. We are currently seeking skilled Mental Health Therapists to join our team in our new location in Allentown, PA.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Forensics Counseling Associates, you will be an integral part of our clinical team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions in-person or virtually, using a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of clients. Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for FCA. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, intake notes, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care. Keep patient files accurate and up to date. Submit weekly insurance billing reports in a timely manner to our billing department. Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health. Schedule your clients and manage your own schedule. Offer crisis intervention if needed and support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and improving overall well-being. Engage in community outreach and collaboration with external agencies, as needed, to support clients and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred. Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting, with a strong preference for experience in forensic or community mental health preferred. Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
