Full Job Description About Maverick Mental Health:
Maverick Mental Health is committed to providing high-quality Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) to individuals seeking support in achieving their mental health goals. We focus on delivering compassionate, client-centered, and culturally responsive care to empower our clients in their recovery journey.
Primary Duties:
The Mental Health Practitioner at Maverick Mental Health will work under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional to provide skills training and rehabilitative services to clients enrolled in the ARMHS program. This role involves working one-on-one with clients in their homes and community settings to help them develop the skills needed for independent living.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing skills training in areas such as medication management, independent living, symptom management, and social skills development. Implementing Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) as outlined by the ARMHS Clinical Supervisor. Assisting clients in developing coping strategies to manage mental health symptoms effectively. Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with DHS and agency standards . Collaborating with the treatment team to ensure coordinated care. Encouraging and promoting client independence while offering supportive interventions as needed. Required Experience/Qualifications — Mental Health Practitioner (Minnesota ARMHS) Meets DHS MHP criteria (Minn. Stat. Ch. 245I), by one of the following pathways: Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science/mental-health-related field and 2,000 hours of supervised experience delivering mental health services; or 4,000 hours of supervised experience delivering mental health services (no specific degree required); or Master's degree (or current enrollment in a qualifying master's program) in a mental-health-related field; or Completion of a DHS-approved mental health practicum/internship meeting supervision requirements.
Training:
Willing to complete required
ARMHS/MHP
onboarding and DHS trainings before providing services and maintain ongoing CE as required.

Demonstrated ability to serve diverse populations with culturally responsive, person-centered care.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently in the field; proficient, timely clinical documentation .
Transportation:
