Job Description

Under a board-approved supervisor, provides clinical and consultative services to prevent, assess, evaluate, and treat mental emotional or behavioral disorders of youth ages 3-20 within the Wellness for Children and Adolescents Restorative Empowerment (WE CARE) Clinic.
Schedule:
Hybrid 3 days in-clinic, 2 days from home. Knowledge and clinical experience with mental health issues. Demonstrated ability to provide diagnostic assessment. Ability to establish and maintain trust and rapport. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organization and time management skills. Strongly preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
At minimum, registered with the Texas Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists as an intern. QMHP eligible and on track to LPC preferred.  Provides counseling and case management services for patients using evidence-based practices.  Performs crisis interventions as needed.  Coordinates with referring providers and other professionals, family members as needed, to engage patient in care.  Provides liaison between clinical team, clinical leadership, and other professionals involved in the patient's care.  Consults and assures continuity of care, conveys assessment findings, and implements therapeutic plans.  Prepares reports and other documentation in accordance with good clinical practice and institutional standards.  Performs all other duties as assigned
