Spravato Treatment Support Specialist (CNA / Behavioral Health Assistant) Rhode Island Counseling Associates - 5.0 Cranston, RI Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Flexible spending account Paid time off Qualifications Patient monitoring Motivational interviewing Clinical documentation CNA Patient observation Full Job Description Job Summary At Rhode Island Counseling Associates, we are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional part-time team member to assist with Spravato (esketamine) treatments and support clients throughout their wellness journey. This role is ideal for a CNA, Medical Assistant, Behavioral Health Technician, nursing student, or someone with similar healthcare or mental health experience who is passionate about patient care and holistic wellness. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly empathetic, organized, and comfortable working in a mental health setting. Experience with patient monitoring, healthcare documentation, or behavioral health is strongly preferred. Schedule Part-time 5 days per week, including Saturdays Flexible daytime hours based on treatment schedule Responsibilities Welcome and prepare clients for Spravato treatment sessions Monitor clients during treatment under clinical supervision Take and record vital signs as needed Provide emotional support and ensure client comfort throughout sessions Maintain a calm, safe, and therapeutic environment Complete accurate documentation and communicate observations to clinical staff Help coordinate scheduling, client check-ins, and follow-up tasks Qualifications CNA certification preferred, but not required Candidates with Medical Assistant, EMT, Behavioral Health Tech, nursing student, or similar backgrounds encouraged to apply Interest in mental health, wellness, and integrative treatments Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, reliable, and compassionate demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Preferred Qualities Experience working in mental health or healthcare settings Comfortable supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, or trauma-related conditions Warm, grounded presence with strong emotional intelligence Interest in emerging mental health treatments and patient-centered care This position offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and supportive mental health practice focused on helping clients heal through compassionate, evidence-based care. Team members play an important role in creating a safe and restorative experience for every client receiving Spravato treatment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
