- Child Life Pediatrics (SJCH) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-23 Scheduled Weekly Hours 24 Work Shift Job Description Provides skilled supervision of a multi-age playroom and bedside play, as needed. Assists with facilitating playroom operations, per Child Life Department policy and procedure. Plan and implement activities in play space to encourage growth and development in pediatric patients. Assists with material management, supervision of volunteers and communicates with Child Life staff regarding patient needs and interactions. Additional Job Description Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Education, Special Education or related field. Experience working with ages 0-18 years required.
