Job Expectations:
Complete assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner and without constant supervision Demonstrate flexibility, confidentiality, and professionalism Promote a positive learning environment for students while maintaining discipline when needed Provide behavioral and academic support in both regular and special education classrooms with poise and confidence Maintain and operate a variety of assistive technology Accept tasks and responsibilities willingly and pleasantly from both teachers and/or case managers Demonstrate an aptitude and flexibility to work with multiple schedules and student needs. Maintain student records and confidentiality Maintain above average attendance including attendance to necessary in-service and staff trainings/meetings Assist with direct observation/data collection and assessment Facilitate re-teaching and extra instruction in a wide variety of courses including math, English, social studies, science, and transition activities
