This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of building a strong clinical culture and helping make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals seeking recovery and healing. Our ideal candidate is a team player , takes initiative, is willing to help spearhead important daily tasks, and is passionate about serving patients with dignity, empathy, and professionalism. Position Overview The Medical Assistant will support both the medical and clinical teams in an outpatient behavioral health and substance use treatment setting. This role requires strong organizational skills, compassion for patients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The right candidate will help support the facility as we continue growing and expanding services. Responsibilities Assist providers and clinical staff with patient flow and daily operations Obtain and document vital signs Prepare patient charts and medical documentation Conduct urine drug screens and document results appropriately Assist with outpatient detox workflow and coordination Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Support medication management processes Coordinate communication between medical, clinical, and administrative teams Help maintain compliance with behavioral health and healthcare regulations Provide compassionate, trauma-informed interactions with patients Assist with admissions, scheduling, and patient follow-up as needed Help create an organized and positive environment for staff and patients Qualifications Medical Assistant certification Experience in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, or healthcare preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently Compassionate and patient-centered approach Willingness to learn and grow with the organization Experience with EMR systems is a plus Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude What We're Looking For We are searching for someone who: Has a heart for helping others Works well with a team Takes initiative without needing constant direction Wants to help build and strengthen a growing program Treats every patient with compassion, respect, and dignity Is dependable, positive, and solutions-oriented Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time Available Monday-Friday Some flexibility based on facility needs Apply Today If you are passionate about helping individuals struggling with substance abuse and behavioral health challenges and want to be part of a growing recovery community, we would love to hear from you.
