Mental Health Worker About Us KidsPeace is a private charity dedicated to supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families, and communities. Since 1882, we have offered psychiatric hospital services, residential treatment programs, accredited educational services, and foster care programs. Our team works in an environment defined by compassion, creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering hope and healing. Position Overview The Mental Health Worker is responsible for providing a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for children and adolescents in care. This role involves direct supervision of daily routines, support with self‑care activities, and the delivery of individual and group counseling services. The position works collaboratively with the treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans, follow daily programming schedules, and communicate relevant client information. When required, the role includes safely implementing approved KidsPeace restraint procedures under the direction of a licensed professional. The Mental Health Worker also supports educational activities when applicable and plays an essential role in ensuring the overall safety, well‑being, and treatment progress of youth.
