Our mission is to support clients in their recovery journey with the highest level of care, structure, and integrity. Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team. The BHT plays a key role in maintaining a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for our clients. This position is ideal for someone passionate about recovery, mental health, and working directly with clients in their day-to-day treatment experience. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to clients in a residential setting Ensure a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Monitor and document client behaviors, progress, and incidents Assist with client admissions, orientations, and discharges Facilitate and oversee daily schedules, including meals, activities, and groups Conduct room checks, contraband searches, and safety monitoring as needed Support clients in developing healthy coping skills and adhering to treatment plans Model professional boundaries, ethics, and healthy communication Respond to emergencies following facility policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, social work, or related field preferred Previous experience in behavioral health, recovery services, or related field preferred (but not required—training provided) Ability to remain calm in crisis situations and handle challenging behaviors professionally Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass background check and drug screening Benefits Competitive hourly pay, commensurate with experience Paid training and opportunities for advancement Supportive and mission-driven team environment Flexible scheduling options (day, swing, and overnight shifts available) Paid time off for qualifying employees
