LEAPS is actively seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and driven Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) to join our growing team. In this impactful role, you'll work closely with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), implementing evidence-based behavior intervention plans rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You'll collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary professionals to foster meaningful behavioral change and improve the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities Conduct assessments and gather data to inform behavior intervention plans. Coordinate and conduct intakes, assessments, and observations to develop a cohesive Functional Behavior Assessment Design and oversee applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programs for clients with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disorders Implement individualized behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on data collected. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records related to client care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for clients. Provide training and support to families and caregivers regarding behavioral strategies. Engage in research data collection to contribute to ongoing program evaluation and improvement. Uphold ethical standards in all interactions with clients, families, and colleagues. Qualifications
PREFERRED
  • BACB Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Certification and/or QASP Certification
REQUIRED
  • WA Department of Health Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) certification
REQUIRED
  • Master's degree (or Masters Degree in progress) in education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, behavior science, human development, social work, or rehabilitation 1-year experience working as a behavior instructor implementing ABA interventions with children with autism 1-year experience working as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training parents and instructors how to implement these Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in education, psychology, or behavior analysis preferred One year experience working as a behavior supervisor designing ABA programs for children with autism, as well as training parents and instructors how to implement these interventions Assessment experience: PDBBI, VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS, FBA, PEAK Knowledge and experience with
DTT, NET, VB, FCT, RIT, PRT
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position or move about various client environments (home, school, clinic, or community) for extended periods.
  • Occasionally moves or positions items and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently positions self to support clients at floor level or during play-based activities.
  • Constantly communicate with clients, families, and team members to exchange accurate information.
  • Observes and detects client behaviors and environmental cues to ensure safety.
  • May traverse between rooms or service locations; some spaces may involve stairs, ramps, or outdoor areas.

  • Work occurs in homes, schools, clinics, or group living settings and may vary in structure, noise level, and lighting.
  • May be exposed to clients exhibiting behaviors such as yelling, hitting, biting, or running (elopement), with proper training and support provided.
  • May work near individuals needing assistance with hygiene, toileting, or mobility tasks.
  • May occasionally be exposed to bodily fluids or communicable conditions, with PPE and training provided.
