Aide for Summer Program Federal Way, WA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $17.13

- Develop and maintain rapport with students, parents, and staff by treating others them courtesy, patience, friendliness, dignity, respect, and a good sense of humor.

- Use acceptable English in written and oral communication. Speak with clear articulation. Respectfully submit and be loyal to those in authority. Ensure adequate supervision for students. Required Professional Qualities It is expected that the Summer Fun Aide/Breaker will have the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year related experience working with preschool through 6th grade age children.
- Ability to work in a team environment with various levels of staff.
- A clear Washington State Background Check.
- A current First Aid/CPR card.
- HIV/Aids and Blood-borne Pathogen training/card.
- A TB test within the last year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pray for God's blessing on the families and staff of PCA.
- Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting Class Leads ; Tracking pick-up of students Giving breaks; Toy sanitation Set up and take-down
- Working with students as requested. Supervision of students inside, outside, at lunch, and on field trips Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Able to listen carefully and respond with grace and understanding to all members of the school community.
- Able to manage time and prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
- Able to manage the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the job.
- Able to walk forward and backwards.
- Able to lift or carry classroom supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment to a maximum of 35 pounds.
- Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak throughout the day.
- Able to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding.
- Able to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, with activity, and during inclement weather. Work Environment, Hours and Compensation The Summer Fun Aide/Breaker works in classrooms and inside areas, and on the playground. The hours are Monday
- Friday, 7:30 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. Salary range, $17.13
- $23.
