• One year related experience working with preschool through 6th grade age children.
• Ability to work in a team environment with various levels of staff.
• A clear Washington State Background Check.
• A current First Aid/CPR card.
• HIV/Aids and Blood-borne Pathogen training/card.
• A TB test within the last year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Pray for God's blessing on the families and staff of PCA.
• Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting Class Leads ; Tracking pick-up of students Giving breaks; Toy sanitation Set up and take-down
• Working with students as requested. Supervision of students inside, outside, at lunch, and on field trips Summary of Essential Job Functions
• Able to listen carefully and respond with grace and understanding to all members of the school community.
• Able to manage time and prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
• Able to manage the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the job.
• Able to walk forward and backwards.
• Able to lift or carry classroom supplies, textbooks, furniture, and equipment to a maximum of 35 pounds.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak throughout the day.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding.
• Able to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise, with activity, and during inclement weather. Work Environment, Hours and Compensation The Summer Fun Aide/Breaker works in classrooms and inside areas, and on the playground. The hours are Monday
