Your role will include assisting with daily transitions and routines, implementing behavior support plans, and maintaining an inclusive and safe educational space for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide academic and behavioral assistance as directed by school staff Offer compassionate, individualized, or small group support Assist with classroom participation and transition times Implement individualized plans such as IEPs or behavior support programs Support supervision, mobility, and personal care needs Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment To be eligible for this role, you must: Hold a high school diploma or GED Be at least 18 years old Have or obtain a current TB test per district requirements Be able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed Complete required background clearances Additional qualifications that strengthen your application include prior experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare. Familiarity with supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges, as well as training in CPI, PMT, or RBT, is a bonus.
